I bought this for my mother and she is so excited to finally have a can opener that doesn’t have a huge list of directions (or buttons), is light, and effortless to use. It’s even easier to use than a standard plugin can opener for her due to severe arthritis in her wrists.
I may have to get one for myself now! The only thing it’s missing is a litter pincher or design element built in to lift the lid. (my manual crank version of this style of opener comes with a little pincher claw to lift on the lid).
I tried this new opener of hers and the lid WAS easy to lift for me, but I told her to use gloves to pop it open just in case any areas were sharp because it lifts the entire lid.

I’m so glad I took a chance on the kitchen mama that I purchased anymore it takes so much reading and research to buy anything it’s just incredible however the product that I have in my hand is just what everybody said it was it works perfectly I find that if I let it make two rotations around the can the lid comes right off when you lift the kitchen, Mama, off the top of the can. Thank you guys for taking the time to make an excellent product and make it affordable

When I need to open a can I just line it up on the edge, just set it on top at the rim of the can and push the button on top.
When it completes opening, just hit the button again and it reverses and stops.
The lid comes off with clean edges, nothing sharp that could cut as you are removing the lid.
Have been using it for about two months and have had no problems.
I recommend it for anyone having trouble with other types of can openers or who doesn’t want to worry about edges that can cut you. And for ease of use!
